Pickering is a cinematographer and director working across multiple filmmaking disciplines. He began his filmmaking career as an editor, working in television for networks such as ESPN, PBS, and CNN before moving into directing in 2012. Since then, Devin has created award-winning films and content for brands such as Patagonia, Converse, Vox, Open Space Institute, and Vice. Most recently, Devin co-directed a ten-part documentary series ‘Lost Arts’, an immersive meditation of our food system.

Devin is familiar with Arri, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and DJI camera systems.

Devin is available for international productions.

Devin has extensive experience with aerial photography, and is an FAA certified drone pilot.

Devin also has experience shooting out of helicopters.
